Starting Some Seeds

So, I started a couple of different plants in 2 different types of seed starters.  The one on the left is a Korean Pear tree that  I started from seed in a regular plastic pot that I bought at the local Dollar Tree and some Jiffy organic seed starting soil.  The one on the right is an Heirloom Okra, Clemson Spineless, that I started in a Jiffy Peat Pellet.  At this point, I like the way the seed from the regular organic soil is turning out.  The seedlings from the pellets are too tall at the base, with the seed leaves about 3-4 inches above the root.  Granted, they’re 2 different types of plants…we shall see.  Either way, I have new plants and eventually food for the family.
